“SIPwall” (ECOPAN) panels are a high-tech monolithic three-layer structure made of 2 sheets of OSB (oriented strand board, OSB-3), 12 mm thick, and rigid EPS foam, grade PPS-14, 100 - 200 mm thick.
The panels are bonded with “Kleiberit” (or “Henkel”) polyurethane adhesive or an equivalent, under press pressure of up to 18 tons. Thanks to monolithic bonding, these panels withstand a vertical load of up to 10 tons and a lateral load of 2 tons per 1 sq. m (for building cottages, 350 kg per 1 sq. m is sufficient)!
To join “SIPwall” SIP panels into a single structure, we use glued laminated timber. As a result, a rigid wooden frame forms inside the wall. This frame is capable of carrying the entire load transferred to the walls of the building on its own. So a house built with “SIPwall” technology can be classed as a frame house.
But in this structure, “SIPwall” SIP panels do more than act as diagonal braces. Thanks to their design, even without the frame they can easily withstand both the axial compressive load from the weight of the house and the lateral load from hurricane-force winds! This combination of two load-bearing systems makes houses built with “SIPwall” technology exceptionally strong.
This design ensures stable thermal performance of a “SIPwall” (ECOPAN) house in any season: in severe frost, such a house stays warm for a long time — if the heating is switched off, the temperature in the house drops by an average of 2 degrees per day. In hot weather, a house built with “SIPwall” (ECOPAN) technology is cool and comfortable.
Houses built with “SIPwall” (ECOPAN) technology can be used in a temperature range from -40 °C to +40 °C and provide comfortable living even in the harshest climates.
For comparison, a brick wall 2 meters thick has similar properties. Heating a “SIPwall” (ECOPAN) house takes less time and energy than heating stone or log houses, and it retains heat much longer. This significantly reduces heating costs.
Thermal insulation properties of the “SIPwall” (ECOPAN) panel compared with other wall structures

Thanks to their unique properties, “SIPwall” (ECOPAN) wall panels do not absorb moisture and do not rot.
Over time, and as temperatures fall, the walls do not freeze through, and their service life is no shorter than that of brick walls.
The wall structure places virtually no restrictions on interior and exterior wall finishes and allows any traditional or modern finishing technology to be used.
Equally important, “SIPwall” (ECOPAN) panels do not dry out, deform or settle. This means finishing work can begin immediately after the shell of the house is assembled.
At the “SIPwall” factory, all structural elements of the house are produced on the Canadian “from start to finish” production line, without buying separate components from third-party manufacturers, including:
- EPS foam made from the raw materials of the world's leading producers;
- Profiled and glued products (timber).
This improvement has significantly reduced the final cost of “SIPwall” products.
We can confidently say that today we offer the best price-to-quality ratio in the production of house kits using “SIPwall” (ECOPAN) technology.
